Alternating Trail Making Test is an iPhone medical cognitive test, which may be useful in screening for Alzheimer's disease and other diseases associated with dementia. Useful for neurology, medicine and geriatrics. A random display of the letters A-F and the numbers 1-6 is shown and the individual attempts to connect these in the sequence order A1B2C3D4E5F6. To use it, you touch the square of the starting point, for example "A" and then drag your finger across the screen to "1" and an arrow is drawn connecting these two points. Scoring includes the overall sequence and smaller "subtrails" of sequences such as A to 1. Features shake to get a new random test. © © 2011 Kevin Lease |
