Runes have been used for hundreds of years to guide those who seek their unique properties, powers, and wisdom. Though the casting of runes cannot divine the future, for those who consult them regularly they provide insight into the road ahead or the paths one might take at any given time. The runes can be consulted on any matter of importance and multiple castings can be used to find any of a number of perspectives from which to proceed. If one approaches the runes in an honest and sincere manner, the insight they can provide is often surprisingly accurate to the situation at hand. Viking runes offer up the full set of 25 Nordic Runes, including the blank rune, Odin. In rune casting, 16 of these runes can potentially be cast in a reverse position, which Viking Runes allows to occur (unlike most other rune casting programs). These reversals are important both when and where they occur in a cast and including them in Viking Runes was important (despite the programming challenges) so that a full, and complete, possible cast could occur. Additionally, Viking Runes provide a convenient way to study all of the runes by merely going to ‘Rune Meanings’ and seeing the entire rune set and their attached meanings.
