Kidslox makes it easier for you to set boundaries for your children’s usage of iOS devices, keeping them safe and setting limits on their screen time. • Block apps by age rating including Minecraft, Facebook, Snapchat, YouTube, Instagram • Prevent in-app purchases • Block Safari and Camera • Restrict Movies and TV shows by age rating Kidslox also allows you to: • Control your devices remotely (requires internet connection) • Send the child’s device to the lock screen (best used with iOS passcode). • Create different settings for unlimited and restricted usage • Create timed sessions and reoccurring schedules • Setup an additional passcode to access the Kidslox app to protect your settings To use Kidslox you will need to download the app onto each device you wish to control (you do not need to install an MDM profile to administer other devices). With Apple’s latest iOS 8 update, Family Sharing makes it possible to only pay for the Kidslox app once (this will need to be on all of your devices). You can also control your devices online using a web browser: https://app.kidslox.com Please note: Due to current iOS limitations, there is an issue with the ‘hides apps’ setting*. When apps are restored on return to normal mode they will appear on your home screen in alphabetical order and outside of any folders.
