± Notes

Notice is a note and writing app that works on iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch and lets you create, save, edit, delete and sync text notes. Notes are saved in plain text format { .txt } with UTF-8 encoding.

± Appearance

Notice has an elegant and intuitive design which you can customise: choose from nine fonts { Futura, Baskerville, DejaVu Sans Mono, Helvetica, Cochin, Inconsolata, Trebuchet, Georgia, and Lekton } and two themes { white text on a black background or black text on a white background }.

± Automatic title completion

By default, Notice uses the first 25 characters of each note as its title and displays this in the list of notes. We like this approach because it keeps things simple, quick and uncluttered. You can of course type your own titles if you prefer.

± Dropbox sync

If you have a Dropbox account, choose a folder to sync to and Notice can save all your notes to it so you can access them from other computers or devices; even better, because Notice is universal and runs on iPhones, iPads, and iPod touch, you can install it on as many devices as you own and sync your notes between devices as well as computers.

It doesn't matter if you don't use Dropbox, Notice works perfectly well without it.

± Full text search

Notice search looks for keywords in note titles as well as in the content of your notes, which makes finding things a breeze.

± Note list

Notice makes it easy for you to find and organise your notes by letting you sort your note list alphabetically, and by date created and date modified. There's also an option to display the date created or date modified of your notes in the notes view.

± Quick send options

A great feature of Notice is the ability to set up three pre-defined email addresses with customisable send button text - we call this "Quick send". It lets you quickly email your notes from within Notice without having to copy and paste into the mail app, or type the same email addresses over and over.

± TextExpander touch support

TextExpander touch is a separate app that lets you save commonly typed text { like email signatures, addresses, and frequently-used text messages } as "snippets".

It doesn't matter if you don't have or use TextExpander, Notice works perfectly well without it.

± Delight

According to Vitruvius, delight is the third principle for any good note or writing app - comes as standard.
