You can japa with your iPhone as well! Advance along the beads, say the maha mantra and count where you are in your prayers! The tutorial mode will also count the beads and rounds instead of you and will help you memorize the mantra. You will find two counters: "total" that tells you how many mantras you have said, and the "actual" that can be reset. Krishna consciuosness is not a must for this, I recommend it to everyone! If you just want to play, then you'll have fun: just pull the beads, say the mantra and count the beads.
