TOP 5 AROOKOO TIPS:

1) Step-tracking Accuracy: Arookoo utilizes the accelerometer to track the swinging motion of each step. For best results, ensure the app is in the foreground, and place phone in pants pocket while walking.

2) Background Step-tracking: when Arookoo is in the background, it utilizes GPS to track your steps. After 60 minutes, GPS is disabled to conserve your battery. Bring app into foreground to resume tracking.

3) Saving Power: to conserve power, tap the "Walk Mode" button and place in a pocket while walking. The proximity sensor will shut of power to the screen when covered, providing significant power savings.

4) Collecting Stars on the GPS Map: when your GPS marker is within 60' of a Map Star it will be added to your Star Rank bar and turn grey.

5) Listening to Music (while using Arookoo): start music through iPod app before bringing Arookoo into the foreground, and start walking!
